Great campsite to visit Pompeii. the places under orange trees are good. You could mention the restaurants in the vicinity as a negative, as everything closes at six o'clock. Eating out in the evening is therefore not an option. All facilities are clearly aimed at visitors to Pompeii.
Although there is sometimes competition from parking cars, it is an excellent camper spot where we can easily go with our large Benimar Tessoro camper of 7.40 m. A bit of maneuvering. Fantastic sanitary facilities and right next to one of the entrances to the Pompeii excavations. near station with trains to Naples and bus to Vesuvius. Oh yes, on Sundays museums are free and so is Pompeii. Then it is very busy!
lees meergreat campsite! Choose a spot yourself and you don't have fixed spots, so if you leave with your camper in between, there is a chance that you will lose your spot. Toilet building neat and clean. Washing machine and dryer €3.50. train station next to the campsite, so trips to Naples and Sorrento (recommended) are possible for €2.80 pp. Pompeii also next door. So plenty to do. with ACSI card €29 per night for 2 people (including city tax)
