A campsite with helpful and friendly Dutch-speaking staff and good facilities (pitches, sanitary facilities and restaurant). From the campsite there are beautiful walking routes in the forest, cycle routes around Mersch or to Luxembourg City. Or free with public transport.
See the review of two here. Had a good meal in the restaurant. Quite a large campsite, which was mainly occupied by Dutch people. Sanitary facilities ok. Staff are very friendly.
Chosen for one night, reserved online. Upon arrival, we were assigned a spot that was far too small and crooked for the camper. Asked for a larger spot, which luckily was no problem. Shower room a short walk away. Showers are reasonably clean, water is warm but there is a risk of scalding due to the single-lever system. And you have to love it; during the May holidays this is a Dutch enclave.
