I really don't understand the bad reviews. Fine spots for a camper site; our door opened easily. We thought the showers were fine too. Two for the men and two for the women. One euro for 5 minutes was also very reasonable. And 25 euros a night in a city like that, you're just paying for this highlight, no problem. We found the other two camper spots a bit less cozy. By the way, we arrived at 10:00 AM and there was plenty of space.

Great spot for a visit to Fussen. As far as we are concerned, the pitches are wide enough for a campervan site (we would look for a campsite in that case). By bike, you can reach Neuschwanstein Castle in just under fifteen minutes (unattended bike parking at the end of the bike path). Quiet at night. Supermarkets and bakery around the corner. A great price for a spot in the city.

For a "top campsite," only the price is top-notch. The pitches are so cramped, unlike any other top campsite we know. The sanitary facilities and waste disposal are also outdated. All in all, there's significant room for improvement. I don't understand how it got included in the list of top campsites. ...
