Campsite in a good location for visiting Melk Abbey, as well as on the Danube Cycle Path and the Danube. It is lovely to cycle towards Krems, and it is nice to visit the ruins in Spitz (20 km) and other nice towns along the Danube.
The sanitary facilities are good, not too spacious, but clean. There are many semi-permanent caravans that have been there for a long time, probably Roma, but they don't bother you.

We paid 40 euros per night.

A lovely spot with wine barrels for cyclists.

Everything was as described; the owner even gave us shower tokens as a gift. The cycle path from Melk to Krems is nicer on the right side, while the left side runs alongside the road for much of the way. We stayed there for three days.

Beautiful, quiet campsite with all amenities. Nice sanitary facilities and showers, apparently recently renovated. Shower tokens available from the vending machine for €1. Great location for cycling along the Danube, e.g. to Yps, or for visiting Melk with its beautiful abbey.
