The campsite is situated in a very beautiful area below the Zugspitze, so there are plenty of hiking and cycling opportunities in the surrounding area. The campsite itself has clean and tidy sanitary facilities. There are nice pitches at the back of the campsite, but on the terraces at the front, you are on very small spots between permanent pitches (caravans with the most hideous extensions and awnings). That doesn't give us a holiday feeling. The restaurant, by the way, is fine.

We were here in January 2026. We skied all day and therefore spent very little time at the campsite. Narrow pitches next to each other on gravel, little privacy, and an awning is almost impossible. Clean sanitary facilities. Excellent restaurant, friendly owners. We paid €66 per night.

We stayed here for one night. We were placed on the stones near the toilet building, half-shared with another campervan and van with caravan. We couldn't even extend the awning or put up chairs for the campervan. This meant we had to camp in the campervan all afternoon/evening. We had to pay the full price of €83.00! And we wanted to pay cash... we wouldn't be doing this again. It's a shame, because the surroundings are very beautiful.
