Lovely, quiet campsite on the Amblève with spacious pitches. Within walking distance of Aywaille and various shops. Nice terrace at the castle for a Belgian beer and a snack. Reception does its best to make visitors comfortable. Good starting point for cyclists and walkers.

Hi Brumpie, well the winter and Easter were very wet, that cannot be stopped. Paving is not permitted due to various nature and environmental regulations. and I actually wouldn't want to, we are a green nature campsite and with the big departure after Easter, 1 car had to be towed so the surface is hard but the grass top layer becomes soft. The spots are nice and big, but we also have smaller spots that you can choose from. fire smoke wind well what can I say....? we are happy that it is still allowed at all.

We stayed here for 1 night. We had a beautiful place. All pitches are large and situated along the river. The walk along the water is fun. Had a nice beer at the tavern. Both the manager and the staff are very nice. We will definitely come back.
