Excellent spot with all the facilities required. Currently undergoing improvement work, but this is not a problem to the camper. A couple of points to note - we had no water on our pitch. It’s not obvious where reception is. Easy walk or cycle into town. Handy Lidl nearby-ish. We’d definitely return.

Friendly welcome, clear information provided, and you can walk straight into Ypres. The pitches are tidy and the sanitary facilities are also well maintained. For a stopover, the camper pitch in front of the campsite is also fine.

The usual walking route towards the center is blocked. At the reception, they provided two alternatives. However, there is a much shorter permitted route: walk from the reception towards the water; halfway you will cross a small flat bridge, then turn right. Keep walking until you reach a street. Here, turn left and walk to the water. Now you can see the Menin Gate, and you will be in the center in no time!
