The remoteness of the site and its location in a park motivated us to go there. The approximately 40 km of narrow, bumpy roads would have been one thing, but the fact that the entrance is at a right angle and leads over a steep, muddy ramp should have been mentioned.

With our 9-meter length, we had no chance of getting in; the turning radius and ground clearance would never have been sufficient. The photo looks less daunting than reality.

All that back again—for nothing.

Nice spot! Clean facilities and cosy camping. Nearby is a restaurant where a very well German speaking lady cooks you a meal. Delicious!! If you stay her, go to Maria's place, you will not be disappointed! We came from the Zagreb area and road is pretty bumpy to get there, but when leaving continuing east was a lot better.

Small campsite (7 pitches) in a rural and quiet setting. The sanitary facilities are clean but basic. There are no other amenities (except that meals can be cooked for you, but that was not the case for us). At over €30 per night, it is very pricey, which is why I am only giving 3 stars. For that money, you do get ten thousand mosquitoes thrown in. Bringing some insect repellent is highly recommended.
