Camping Base Camp Medvedin

We arrived here today, February 6, 2026, with two people and a campervan for two nights; the asking price was €120. We didn't do that. We found a private spot at a hotel in Hradec, in the village, for €76 for two days, including use of the hotel shower, water, electricity, and drainage.

Beautifully situated campsite with spacious pitches. Clean sanitary facilities. Approximately €40 per night, including electricity.

After a 300 km journey we had to turn back. The reason was that the local mayor had the camp evacuated due to flooding. Our misfortune was that we had already paid for the pitch and now we are chasing our refund. The staff present were overwhelmed and very unfriendly. We have not yet received a response to our complaint.
