A campsite run by people after my own heart! It is all a bit old, with overdue maintenance, but it is cheap, offers free Wi-Fi, free water, and wonderful free showers without coins, cards, or timers. It is wonderfully quiet and rural. The couple running the campsite are getting on in years, but they are very friendly, hospitable, and trustworthy. I just got to learn all sorts of things about the region from the passionate lady. Please note: Cash payment only.

Top self-sufficient spot, €10, final waste disposal free, very friendly owners.

You can also set up camp with showers, electricity, etc.

The strawberries are amazing.
