Lahntours-Campingplatz Runkel

Large field by the river, unfenced by electrical outlets. €32 all-in. Free pitches. Clean sanitary facilities, with a hot shower with a push button. Close to the medieval town of Runkel. A great pizzeria on the campsite with an extensive Italian menu (open April through September). Highly recommended. You can take your dog to the Lahn hiking trail, just behind the campsite on the right. Canoes and bikes are available for rent.

Lovely spot on the river. Lots of activities available. Canoe rentals, cycling along the Lahn River to Limburg an der Lahn. A nice 10 km trip. Italian restaurant on the campsite. We had a delicious meal there. Reservations are recommended. Sanitary facilities are excellent.

Great location. Good amenities. A bakery (where you can get breakfast from 6:00 AM) and a supermarket are just around the corner. Separate field for tents and canoeists. €5 per night for electricity is a hefty price. Relaxed atmosphere.
