Parking Satamatie

Large parking lot by the lake, quiet, decent terrain but like everywhere in the parking lots there is a lack of trash cans. Serious efforts need to be made in this area.

A spacious parking lot just below the old fortress, beside a local road, almost no traffic during the night. No facilities. 200 meters to the harbour and a combined cafe/coffee roastery open until 8 pm (with toilets). Restaurant beside the cafe. 300 m away is a supermarket and the city.

It is in fact an ordinary but spacious parking lot, right on the lake. On the other side are the old ramparts with the original barracks on a hill. Very nice walk in a historic atmosphere. There is also an authentic bakery with delicious cakes. The harbor is on the other side of the hill. Nice visiting place. The CP is quiet at night, we were in the longitudinal direction of the lake. Then the road is a bit further away.
