On the day of arrival, it turned out that the restaurant and the campsite shop were closed for an unknown period, without prior notice. Despite this change, cancellation was not possible. The campsite played loud music across the grounds for part of the day. Furthermore, on Monday there was no food truck, without the reception mentioning this. With empty e-bikes, no dinner, and the nearest restaurant a 40-minute walk away, this was very disappointing.

Beautiful campsite with a view of lavender fields! Unfortunately, it was taken over by a chain; the old owners have retired. Apparently, they were amazing cooks! They had many returning guests, and locals came to eat there too. The small restaurant closed in early July! That took the whole soul out of it… A real missed opportunity… we also left early. We were properly refunded for the remaining nights; I think they realized it themselves. They really need to take the old website down.

After a 5-day stay, we’ve had enough. The swimming pool is really great, and from the water you have a view of the lavender field 👌👌 along the campsite. Many camping pitches are being built up with holiday homes, with all the associated nuisance. Unfortunately, the restaurant, terrace, and shop are closed. Moreover, there is no Wi-Fi.

The charm of camping has been lost.
