Rural spot, just the kind of French campsite you want!

The sanitary facilities aren't luxurious, but they are fine. We are staying an extra night because of the atmosphere.

A fine welcome and a shady pitch in 35C… facilities very nice except for no toilet paper and nowhere to put your own other than on the floor… why does this still happen in France?

A lovely campsite with large pitches, sun and shade with large old trees, also a small stream; look around yourself to choose. Very hospitable and service-oriented owner, who also speaks English. Bread roll service. (Snack) bar only open on weekends. Right opposite the campsite is a nice swimming lake. The owner came by yesterday specifically to do a round to warn of possible strong winds. Nice cycling and walking, routes at reception.
