Very friendly welcome. We could choose our own spot and it overlooked the river. We enjoyed our stay because of the laid back atmosphere. 
You can walk from here to the famous
Pont d'Arc. There's a pebble beach and a lot of canoe activity even in late September. We stayed during the week and it was quiet in the evenings - just lovely sleeping under the stars to the sound of cicadas. 

The loos and showers are basic but nothing to complain about.

Nice little campsite, but the sanitary facilities are very outdated. Some pitches are very narrow and difficult to access (even with a VW campervan). There's no lighting on the path to the sanitary block at night.

The location is right on the river and only about a 10-minute walk to the Arc du Vallon. We only stayed one night, though.
