Camping de la Mer de Glace

A lovely campsite in the woods, in a beautiful setting, with helpful and friendly staff. A half-hour walk from Chamonix or a free train ride away. The sanitary facilities are very clean! There's a food truck that comes every evening. The pitches offer plenty of privacy and are quite spacious.

places with hedges between them provide pleasant privacy, you can walk into the forest or to Chamonix center (half an hour) nice people at the reception. sanitary facilities are outdated but clean, showers have just been renovated (small cubicles) nice warm water. beautiful view of the mountains around.

camping itself is ok, close to the center. But price quality is not right. Outdated sanitary facilities with lukewarm water. Quickly finished showering brrr.
