Camping de la Bageasse

an elongated campsite, with large places, near the river Allier, sanitary facilities ok. without toilet seat but toilet paper. to get there keep the address and not the gps, because it takes you to the wrong point.

Excellent campsite near the river. Every now and then a train passes by over a beautiful viaduct. Limited number of places for campers, many houses/cabins. Friendly reception open from 5.30 pm in low season. Paid 18.65 including electricity, although officially 20.00. Sufficient electrical connections, but not at every pitch. A slightly longer cord may be necessary. Place on grass only. Good and clean sanitary facilities. Great for a stopover along the way to/from south.

nice campsite. few places to use the dish. swimming pool was still open at the beginning of October. Getting to the town by bike is easy. beautiful stained glass windows in the church.
