A very nice campsite. Very large pitches, a bit slanted, but a true camper won't mind that. The owner is very friendly and speaks English. There is a very beautiful lake nearby for cooling off. Restaurants... well, what can I say about that 🤔 lots of chip shops and the supermarket is quite far away. Stock up on groceries a bit and you have a lovely, quiet holiday. Oh, and you can actually eat here in July and August.

An ideal campsite for those who appreciate peace and simplicity. With large pitches and good shade from the sun provided by the large trees and hedges. The sanitary facilities are simple and clean. Electricity is only available at the pitches.

Of the campsites around Lac Setton, we found this one to be the most pleasant and peaceful. It had a wide variety of pitches, plenty of space, and was about 200 meters from the lake. Sanitary facilities were adequate, but the bar was closed (September).
We walked around a bit more (14 km flat) and checked out the other campsites there. The owners do their best to make camping as environmentally friendly as possible. A campervan for two people without electricity was €18.10.
