Mooie plek aan kanaal. Nu ook begin oktober druk bezet. Inderdaad weinig manoeuvreerruimte aan het kanaal als het vol is. Fietsen langs kanaal naar Pouilly!

Beautiful spot on the canal. It's also very busy in early October. Indeed, there's little room to maneuver along the canal when it's full. Cycle along the canal to Pouilly!

Wat een fijne plek om te staan.
Toen we aankwamen op 31-07-2025 waren de 8 plekken met stroom bezet. Zoals we gelezen hadden mocht je ook op het grasveld achter de officiële plekken bij het meer staan. Hier geen stroom maar er zijn wel toiletten links in het stadhuis en er waren zelfs wastafels. Wij hebben daar geen gebruik van gemaakt omdat we zelfvoorzienend zijn. In totaal daar 7 nachten gestaan en dat voor maar € 6,00 per nacht. 
 

What a lovely place to stay!
When we arrived on July 31, 2025, all eight sites with electricity were occupied. As we'd read, you could also pitch on the lawn behind the official sites by the lake. There was no electricity there, but there were toilets to the left of the town hall, and there were even sinks. We didn't use them because we're self-sufficient. We stayed there for a total of seven nights, and all for just €6.00 per night.

Een mooie plek om te overnachten bij het bezoeken van vrienden in Chateauneuf. Alleen de betaling (€10 per nacht met electriciteit) leverde een probleem op: het bedrag wordt dagelijks aan het eind van de dag opgehaald maar dan waren wij er steeds niet. Dat probleem uiteindelijk keurig opgelost door het afgeven van het bedrag in een enveloppe bij de Marie om de hoek

A nice place to stay when visiting friends in Chateauneuf. Only the payment (€10 per night with electricity) caused a problem: the amount is collected daily at the end of the day but then we were not there. That problem was eventually neatly solved by handing over the amount in an envelope at the Marie around the corner
