Close to the water but also very close to the ferry port. Asphalt, flat, no V+E, no waste. Unfortunately, many refrigerated trucks are noisy at night regular announcements with tinkling beforehand… Just ok for one night 7pm-9am but lots of loud noises from ferry docks. Not for those sensitive to noise. Police and harbor patrol regularly patrol the area as a safe. Start around 9:00 and continue…

Not sure why this has such bad reviews, we were able to stay (as it says) from 7pm till 9am free of charge. It is a working ferry port so can be noisier but it was free! We walked into the beautiful old town of St Malo, had a lovely dinner and headed off in the morning just as all the fishing boats were going out. Grand job for us & the 3 other vans which were also there.
