Unfortunately, the end of the free spot is in sight. This place will soon be a paid Camping-Car park place. The infrastructure is already there, but not yet working. (23-04-2024) No idea when this will come into effect, but it won't take long. See pictures.
Good stopover facility. Level spaces with free services. About 20 vans parked up now. Short walk into lovely village with Château and Riverside walks. Definitely recommend it as worthwhile visit
Well placed aire, free water and empty off, no charge for overnight stay. Easy walk into the village, lovely château which you can visit for a small price. We ate well at a lovely restaurant opposite the château at lunchtime . Peaceful overnight and other campers also parked here, no worries, would fully recommend, also don’t forget to take the walk along the river it’s full of pleasant surprises along the bank, very pleasant!!
