Small quiet campsite in the Centre Val de Loire, run by Sibylle & Thomas, a couple from Switzerland, known from the SRF documentary 'Auf und davon 2026: The site, a former farmhouse, is located just outside the village of Obterre at the northern tip of the 'Parc Naturel Régional de la Brenne'. Also known as the 'Land of a Thousand Lakes'. To the north are the world-famous Loire castles.

A fantastic, beautiful, and well-maintained campsite. The owners, Sybille and Thomas, are incredibly friendly. The sanitary facilities are clean and well-kept. Since they took over in August 2025, they've been continuously improving the site; the new pool is almost finished, and we're already looking forward to seeing what else has changed on our next visit.

It's definitely worth including a trip here in your plans!

A very beautiful, quiet campsite with 200m² pitches!

Extremely friendly owners who have been continuously developing the site since taking over in 2025. The swimming pool is ready!

Clean sanitary facilities, water, electricity, and a composting waste disposal system are available.

Bread can be ordered!

A highly recommended location for cycling trips to small lakes and visits to nearby castles!

rather 6 stars! What a nice CP this is, Mike and Cath are very friendly and helpful. very spacious pitches and sanitary facilities are great. If we are in the area again, we will definitely come and spend the night with our camper again. WiFi is very poor, but nowadays we often have a lot of GB, so ....... we don't think it's important.
