Camping U Prunelli

A pleasant, small-scale campsite with large, shady pitches (sometimes a bit dark). A lovely swimming pool, a charming restaurant, a small shop with bread, and spotlessly clean restrooms. Tip for parking in Ajaccio: the large Misericordia parking lot (also suitable for campervans, €2 for a few hours) at the top of the city, near the hospital. A free shuttle bus to the city center (Prefecture stop) runs every 10 minutes.

The pitches are shady, very spacious, and you can choose your own spot (it was great to be able to stay close to the playground and restrooms with a child). The pools are fantastic! They're cleaned and swept frequently, and in the evenings, all the lights are turned on manually 😂.

Nice campsite, nice spacious places. The swimming pool looks neat. The toilet building has been partly renovated. The rates are high for the pre-season and you have to pay in cash. The ferry service from Porticcio to Ajaccio is recommended. The bus stops right in front of the campsite, but dogs are not allowed on the bus! On the ferry they are allowed. The timetable of the bus and the ferry service do not match.
