30-12 too quiet, I watched briefly, but shady characters were driving around at high speed. I didn't feel comfortable spending the night alone, so I drove on.

On our trips to Spain and Portugal, we like to take shortcuts on various D roads in France, which is why we stumbled upon this spot. It's certainly a parking lot where we find plenty of space and peace, especially at this time of year. Another advantage is that there's absolutely no lighting, so the darkness is truly dark. It's a shame about the clouds, otherwise it would have been truly enjoyable.
There's little traffic, so it's nice and quiet. A great place to spend the night.

we were there on 8-11-24. it is a regular parking lot at the driveway of Fort de Fermont. During this period the fort is closed. it does not appear that it is a cp. but there are also no prohibition signs that overnight stays are prohibited. there are also no facilities. the p-place is high on the maginot line in green surroundings along a quiet road. no special spaces for campers.
