Aire de Camping-Car Ekelsbeke

Nice peaceful spot just a short walk from the center which has a small supermarket, cafe and a chip shop - as close to UK chips as we've found since being in Europe for 2 months. Services were out of order when we were there. Quiet night with no issues. Also some good memorials to the first and second world war, The Murder Barn is a must see - really makes you appreciate what they went through.

Good campervan site for an overnight stay. It's great that there's now extra space for campervans next to the original site. Dumping is possible. Fresh water costs €5, but the taps are broken, and we didn't try it. The village has a small supermarket, a pharmacy, and a chip shop.

On Thursday April 17th we drove here especially because we had read that you have an electricity connection here. To our great disappointment the entire pole was "hors service". Nice camper place but this was a huge disappointment. When will this be fixed again?
