It is indeed a campsite in the dunes, and there are no flat spots. We were even parked so crookedly with our blocks for a scandal, but that is precisely the charm of this campsite. Truly raw nature, as if you are in the dunes and not on a flattened concrete expanse. We hadn't booked and unfortunately there was only a spot available for one night. Beautiful new toilet block, just open for 3 days. A pity we had to leave.

Had a lovely, relaxed three night stay here. Everyone is friendly. The pitches are a good size, although shade and privacy are difficult. Don't be put off by that! Brand new showers and toilets, great beach attached to the campsite. Worth cycling to Granville, which is a pretty town. Nice promenade north along the beach to St Martin de Brehal, which had a good market. Bars and shops outside the campsite add up to a great place to stay.

Rate is basic, we pay 
€ 23.00 (2 persons and 2 dogs)
Large municipal campsite in open dune area, so not flat, we were 100 meters from the beach. Reception also speaks German and English.
Sanitary facilities fine for French standards. Walking/cycling on and along the beach is fine.
