We arrived about 11pm and all the "official" slots were taken - so we just parked on the grass near where the circus was setting up. We went to fill up with water on leaving. We couldn't connect our hose to the water outlet so drove on - to the free service point at Gaillon.

Well-maintained campsite. Spacious pitches. Opposite the station, no train noise. Within walking distance of a nice town where there is a market on Fridays. Driving through the town is not possible on Fridays, but you can get there from the station. There is also the possibility to empty tanks, use the toilet, and get water. Via bank card, approx. €3/50 liters.

excellent free spot for a few hours sleep after arriving in Dieppe . The town is well worth a wander. highly recommended
