Campsite with large pitches for larger campers as well. We stayed at the edge (84). The larger pitches have no shade. Beautiful natural beach campsite. The nearest beach where you can swim is a 20-minute bike ride through the marsh with salt fields. Very special!

Quiet campsite behind the dunes with spacious unpaved pitches. Our campervan (3000 kg) got stuck in the sand. With a lot of effort and help from other campers, we managed to get out after an hour. Many pitches have such a sandy surface. A serious problem! If the owner paves the pitches, it will be a fine campsite; there is a supermarket nearby, within cycling distance. A good base for exploring Île-de-Ré by bike.

This was our third stop while traveling along the Atlantic coast. We had stayed at Huttopia before and it remains one of the better campsites. Quietly enjoying nature and the peace that prevails there. A friendly welcome, clean sanitary facilities, and a delicious pizza make this place a wonderful holiday destination. A paradise for anyone wanting to explore the island from here.
