Lovely place for peace seekers

Together with our daughters, we had a fantastic time on Rik and Odilia's farm. They have created such a beautiful and lovely place ❤️ Every morning and evening, you can join Farmer Rik to visit the animals. We even got to bottle-feed the lambs. Their motto is 'nothing is mandatory and almost everything is allowed,' and you can really feel that. Riding on the tractor, building a campfire, having a nice chat, cuddling with the animals. What was supposed to be just one night turned into almost a week! Highly recommended!

A very pleasant farm campsite with a friendly welcome from hostess Odillia.
We unfortunately didn't get to admire the surroundings, but according to her, it's the hilly landscape of Limburg and the cozy atmosphere of Drenthe. The campsite is right next to a meadow with black-headed sheep. Just pitch your tent somewhere, and on the way to the restrooms, you'll be greeted by two pigs. (Nice showers!). After sunset, it's deafeningly quiet. What peace and quiet.
