Don't expect too much; we found it quite shabby, although the sanitary facilities were perfectly fine. Fine for a stop, nothing more, but that is purely personal.

Friendly welcome, just a shame about the long afternoon break from 12 to 2 pm. Large pitches, mostly shaded. Mixed sanitary facilities, but perfectly fine with a number of recently renovated showers. Nice swimming pool with a children's section (covered if needed) and extra amusement parks with a small water slide. Food - restaurant as already mentioned, fries...dark brown, greasy. The overall impression wasn't great either. After a polite remark, it came to light that it was a "family matter".

Nice campsite, friendly staff. Great place to explore La Rochelle by bike. There are a lot of English people here though. Toilet block reasonably new and spotlessly clean. The swimming pool is wonderfully refreshing. The restaurant isn't really great; the homemade fries are so greasy they don't rust. Otherwise, a great location to stay.
