Camping de Montreal

This is our second time at the campsite at the end of December. Last year we already had a problem with the wet, slippery ground, but this time we were completely stuck. With the help (a lot of pushing) of the owners and my wife, the campervan got out of its muddy state. Therefore, the advice for this campsite is to prepare a few spots for winter with paved surfaces so that campervans can stay there with peace of mind. The snack bar is closed.

Pros + A pleasant, friendly campsite + Wonderfully warm showers + Pleasant walks around the lake + Friendly reception + Open all year + Small restaurant on the campsite + Summer pool + Evening arrival possible + Vival supermarket 950 meters away, but the route is steep Points for improvement - Not all pitches are suitable after rain - Messy, much work still needs to be done - Restaurant closed from November to March - Dishwashing water could be warmer - Poor site lighting

No Dutch owners, but a very friendly English couple. They also run the adjacent restaurant. Highly recommended! Delicious food. The pitches are beautiful and very private. Beautiful view of the lake. Super clean sanitary facilities. Hot water for washing dishes. Bread roll service. Everything was excellent. We will definitely be back!!
