Beautiful, quiet, small campsite. Very friendly owners who were able to give us lots of information in German. Pitches right by the river, under large trees, or in the sun. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended. You arrive at the beautiful building (a former mill) via the driveway and can already see part of the park-like grounds. It looks well-maintained and welcoming. The reception is warm. Nice sanitary facilities. It is a beautiful region where you can soak up some culture, but nature lovers will also find plenty to enjoy. I had a wonderful, relaxing week by the Gartempe river and would love to return again.

Everything neat and clean.
Nice park-like campsite, but very French.
Good walking and cycling opportunities.

Chickens roamed freely. Very nice campsite owners.
Quiet, calm atmosphere.
