I had never heard of Espalion. Yet it is a very nice place in an area where nobody lives.
municipal camping, so we were too early. the gates only open at 16:00. 
then a lot of Carmina walkers push in front who also want a spot. we let them go first.
clean showers. spacious camper care area. more than enough shade. close to the center, easy to walk.
we paid €22.44 for camper with 2 prs and electricity

with acsi 34 euros for 2 nights.
perfect showers with sink, your things stay dry
many places, spacious with electricity and water.
Behind the campsite you walk through a beautiful park to the village, which is definitely worth it.
several restaurants and a carrefour in the village.
In short, definitely recommended for a few overnight stays.
