Campéole L'ile des Papes

Great campsite, beautiful location. Reservations are recommended, even in the off-season. Sanitary facilities are excellent. Lots of cycling routes; Avignon is 8 km away. Top campsite!

If you want to avoid the overcrowded (also in late spring and early autumn) campsites in Avignon, L’ille des Papes is a good alternative. 8km by bike on a good cycle path along the Rhône from Avignon. Campers and caravans are under the trees, separated from the cottages. Good, new sanitary facilities with spacious showers. We paid €22 end of September '24.
