Nice initiative by the city to provide all facilities for 3 campers for free.

Arrived on 27/07/26 at 23:30.
A little later, it was a bunch of young people hanging around with cars, lots of noise with music, alarms going off, loud talking and shouting at each other, this until 03:00.
I don't understand why those local residents tolerate that.
Fortunately, they stayed away from the campers.

Nice spot, but indeed a real hangout for young people (unfortunately even on weekdays), partly due to the free electricity for charging phones and playing speakers. A shame, but a one-time visit for us!

Thanks to the municipality of Grenay! What a great service, and free of charge too. The man who took a picture of our camper (you can park here for 48 hours) told us you can also park in the unprepared spots. Three spots have electricity. A gem!
