Camperplaats Thorigny-sur-Oreuse

Good as a stopover. Dusty, turns into clay mud when it rains, and there are also trucks.

We drove into the village and saw the sign for the campsite. It was a great spot on the edge of the village. We didn't hear any dogs, and the woman was gone. Work on the church was at a standstill. It does get muddy quickly when it rains, but hey, it's wonderfully quiet, and the facilities are working. Great! A bonus is the antique washhouse next to the campsite. It's free, folks, and quiet. Thanks to the municipality! LA VIE EST BEAUTE!

It seemed quiet, but dogs bark very loudly at night. The site is currently being used as a construction site to restore the church. A few permanent gypsies occupy the best spots. A charging station for electric cars has been added. It's practically impossible to park a campervan. Currently, it's not recommended.
