Not recommended, as the other reviews also show; no friendly welcome. Smelly toilets, very outdated sanitary facilities. The restaurant staff are friendly, though, and the food is fine. Beautiful and well-maintained terrace. So we did have a nice evening!

We stayed at the camper site while passing through; it was perfectly fine! Little shade but spacious pitches. Good facilities, sanitary facilities basic but clean. Showers alternate between cold and hot.
The restaurant is cozy and serves good food! Be sure to make a reservation.
The surroundings are beautiful, lovely for paddling in the stream.

Great campsite, you just have to be able to look past the chaos upon arrival. Many overnight travelers passing through, making it pleasantly busy in the late afternoon. The sanitary facilities are good, the restaurant is fine (reservations recommended), the tram to Karlsruhe is next to the campsite, you get off right in the city center. The stream is lovely for paddling. In short, we had a good time here.
