We were here last weekend. The reception wasn't exactly friendly. Then we'd have to find a spot on our own. Motorhomes that arrived after us weren't exactly greeted warmly either. The cars were pretty messed up, so many people had to maneuver a lot. At €38 for one night, we wouldn't come back. Big praise for the restaurant. The food was really delicious.

We were warmly welcomed by a very kind gentleman. Beautiful pitches, good showers without tokens, and a restaurant with delicious food. What more could you ask for when you're traveling through? We only stayed one night, so we can't comment on the surrounding area.

We arrived at the campsite today for a stopover without a reservation. It was closed, but the owner came to us and kindly helped us choose a nice spot. It's a lovely, beautiful campsite with excellent sanitary facilities and good showers. The restaurant was closed, but I'm sure it was good too. Definitely recommended.

Information
S-Bahn connection to Ettlingen. Ettlingen is approx. 4 km away and is very easy to reach by bike. A restaurant and a kiosk are on the square. Power connection available. Fresh water withdrawal near the reception. Greywater can be disposed of in a manhole on the car parking lot. Pitches on grass, partly uneven. Ideal for hikers and cyclists. Bad Herrenalb is about 14 km. 280 permanent campers!
