Nice camper spot, 15-minute bike ride to the old town center of Bamberg, a wonderfully nice center. We were passing through on our way to Croatia.

We've been going to this campsite for years, always very good. Yesterday, an employee of the operator asked us to leave, as it's only permitted for motorhomes up to 3.5 tons, and ours is 4.5 tons. Otherwise, there's a €35 fine. When we inquired, we were told that this has always been the case, but it was never enforced. By evening, the campsite was half empty. Incomprehensible, the man couldn't give a plausible explanation. There's a sign at the entrance to the parking area.
