Great place to stay for one or more nights. Friendly welcome and indeed, everything is paid for in cash. Excellent sanitary facilities and plenty of space at the pitches themselves. Located alongside a small diesel railway line; you can see and hear it running, but it is certainly not an annoying presence. Excellent information boarding service and a small shop on site as well.

What a beautiful campsite. Very large pitches, by the river Saale if desired. The sanitary facilities are really top-notch.

8 minutes of showering for €1.

No internet and you have to pay for Wi-Fi: €5 per device for the entire stay.

Had a delicious meal at restaurant Rossmühle.
Only cash payments are possible, even in the restaurant. So you do need to keep that in mind.

A lovely campsite with a great atmosphere. All facilities are available and there's a good restaurant. You can swim and canoe in the river. The water didn't look very clean, though, so we didn't try it ourselves. The sanitary facilities are well-maintained and clean. You do need €1 tokens to shower. Waste and wastewater disposal can be found if you follow the road uphill.
