A beautifully situated and clean campsite with everything a camper could wish for.

A charming town and castle (with fantastic views of the Main Valley).

Good restaurants and cozy wine taverns.

Great bike paths along the Main River with inviting beer gardens.

We will gladly return.

Well-equipped and maintained campervan site with all necessary amenities. A very nice town to visit. The castle ruins are currently partially closed due to the risk of collapse, but the beautiful viewing platform is accessible. Suddenly, the campervan site was overrun with caravans, despite the explicit ban. These turned out to belong to a single (loud) family and only left after decisive action by the city warden and the police.

Great, quiet and tidy camper place, Karlstad is a nice town with nice restaurants within walking distance.
