We were here again. It's great that the payment system has been introduced. Thanks to the city of Kulmbach.

Unfortunately, the aforementioned guildhall seems to be permanently closed.

What a shame.

But there are plenty of other options here.

The Kommunalbräu, not far from the square, is definitely worth mentioning.

The Weinbrücke restaurant further out should also be mentioned.

Of course, there are many other restaurants here that haven't been mentioned.

A campsite that has everything a motorhome traveler needs.

Central location, directly below the castle.

Short walk to the castle, town center, and museums.

We had a delicious Franconian meal at Petz in the town center.

This is a great place to spend a lovely weekend.

€10 per night is reasonable. 300 meters east of the campsite, on the other side of the Main River, the beer garden and brewery – Kommunal Brauerei – are well worth a visit. Reservations are essential on weekends!
