Camping Tauber Idyll

A beautiful campsite. If you're looking for peace and quiet, you'll find it. A wonderful, friendly site manager. He was very helpful. The toilets were clean. €0.50 for a hot shower is fine. I'd be happy to come back. The site is very busy, so reservations are advisable.

It's a shame you have to give one star, but I'd rather give nothing. Today I had made a reservation and, as they prefer, paid in advance. However, I wasn't registered in their system, so there was no space. I was able to verify their email and payment details via phone. He still had one spot available. 2x3 meters on gravel with asphalt next to it. Keeping in mind that we had a medium-sized campervan. We couldn't even extend the awning. And that for 82 euros!

Not exactly a campsite with a lot of extras, but nice and quiet. Reservations are recommended due to the size of the campsite. The hosts are super friendly and helpful (we had a power problem for one day, which was resolved immediately). Sanitary facilities (accessible with a code) are excellent, and 50 cents for a shower is a good price. Cycling to Rothenburg ob den Tauber is challenging but doable (especially with an e-bike).
