Stayed here for 1 night. The no-camper parking sign is located at the entrance to the bus parking lot. It is not prohibited for campers. On the contrary, in fact.

See the website. You can stay for 24 hours for €6.50.
For clean water and emptying the toilet, you can use the adjacent campsite for a fee.

Inexpensive, simple parking space on gravel with no supplies or disposal. Car parking spaces may not be used by motorhomes. 
ATTENTION: 
Sonthofen is extremely hostile to motorhomes. Any parking space, whether parking lot or roadside, is prohibited for motorhomes after 8 p.m. So there is not even the possibility of eating dinner anywhere because you are not allowed to park anywhere. Bitter! I have never experienced anything like this in Europe.

Good parking also with WW. We were there from Friday to Saturday, PP was almost empty, you could also park in front of the official PP, no noise, 750m away is a bakery with an attached café where you can have a good breakfast. There is no disposal station on the PP, you have to go to the neighboring campsite. Electricity is also not available. Short way to the thermal baths. Definitely recommended for 1-2 nights.
