We were there on September 20, 2026. Large gravel area. Electricity and water are free at the various pillars. A minor downside: at the small waste bin at the entrance to the campsite (which is overflowing), it says that you are expected to take your trash with you. The town is within walking distance, where you can have a good meal at the Greek restaurant.

The site is gravelled, and there are water and waste disposal facilities just to the right of the entrance. The town is within walking distance, and there are several restaurants with beer gardens in the town center. You can cycle along the very scenic Vils Cycle Path.

As mentioned, you need to register at the gas station. Overall, a practical and quiet campsite.

Of course, you can still pay at the Aral gas station, as indicated on the signs at the site and on the municipality's website. Cash or card payment is possible.

There are no gas stations in winter, but this is also clearly stated on the website.

In this respect, the previous 1-star rating is completely incomprehensible.
