A beautifully situated campsite on the Main River. One section has lovely pitches under trees, while the other is very dusty in dry weather and noisy due to the bridge. It's close to a charming town and ideal for cycling and hiking.

Nice place by the river. Price still €10. max stay 72hrs. Electric towers work. For  fresh water and WC service there is a place close by in a carpark off of Fahrer Strasse

We stayed there for four days and have a self-sufficient car, so the lack of water and sewage disposal was a minor problem.
Advantage: Close to town with a beautiful view of the Main River. Disadvantage: Some street noise from the bridge, but worse still, the concrete plant on the other side of the Main River. This morning, there was noise from the crane starting at 4:45 a.m. There's usually no work there on weekends.
