The only advantage is that it is free. All day from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM, lots of cars going back and forth. No facilities. The city/covered shopping center is 3 km away by bike and very steep downhill/uphill.

Many thanks to Leica for this free overnight parking space. Leica Park, with its fantastic exhibitions, restaurant, café, and nature trail, is absolutely worth a visit. Walking to Wetzlar's old town should be carefully considered, as the approximately 3 km involve an elevation gain of 120 meters. If we may make a request to Leica: a service station for motorhomes (even with a fee) would be fantastic.

Nice, quiet place on gravel, no problem even with a larger motorhome if you park backwards and let the motorhome's "butt" hang over the lawn. No infrastructure but free! 5 minutes walk to the bus stop, about 20 minutes to the old town
