Large campsite with many permanent pitches. Stayed for two nights. Booking was a lot of trouble: the contact form, WhatsApp, and multiple phone calls yielded no response. Upon arrival, it turned out the form had been received; the reception seemed to consider this normal. Pitch on unnumbered field B, with many empty campers/caravans. Beautiful lake, clean sanitary facilities. Lack of atmosphere. Nice forest walk to Burg Greifenstein.

Large campsite, which also attracts groups. We stayed at a new spot that wasn't quite finished yet. It was very busy when we arrived.

The owner works hard to accommodate everyone.

The sanitary facilities are okay, but could use an extra cleaning round given how busy it is.

From Wednesday onwards, you can get takeaway food at the stalls in front of the campsite.

I would give 4 stars once the new camper pitches are fully ready.

Friendly managers who welcome you nicely. Many permanent pitches, but they are currently developing a terraced campsite with large pitches. Sanitary facilities are clean and adequate. Fishing for trout is possible with a day pass. Many activities are organized on weekends. There is a terrace with a snack bar. Beautiful walking routes and cycling are possible provided you don't mind a bit of climbing. Supermarket within cycling distance.
