Friendly manager. Sanitary facilities simple but clean. Cash payment is indeed required. We found the campers along the Elbe to be parked quite close together. We chose a spot on the large grassy field, where we were almost alone on July 9th.

PLEASE NOTE that the reception is closed between 1 and 3 pm and the barrier is down.

The manager was very friendly and helpful; we even got the last spot right on the Elbe River. Simply wonderful. Thank you so much!

The sanitary facilities are in containers because it is an overflow area of the Elbe and therefore needs to be easily removable, but it is clean and the shower is wonderfully warm!

The manager is very friendly and the place is dirt cheap by current standards (€13 p.d.) ☺️
It is nicely situated by a small harbor with restaurants within walking distance.
You can enjoy cycling and walking there (Elbe Cycle Path) and Lauenburg is beautiful!

In short, as far as we are concerned, a solid 5⭐️
