It was quite strange to check in ourselves and not see (almost) any other campsite staff. We found the clear instruction booklet very helpful. The sandwiches were delicious. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. We watched World Cup matches on the big TV screen. We also had to pay for our own beer and bread. It is a good system in itself, but a bit impersonal. The sanitary facilities are clean, which is the most important thing. Bad Pyrmond is nearby.

Nice campsite, we stayed here for 1 night. We were passing through on our way north. You can choose a spot yourself and pay via an envelope in the mailbox. There is even a small fridge with various drinks; you pay in the cash box. The sanitary facilities are dated but very clean. Perfect Wi-Fi and there is also a bread roll service. Unfortunately, the restaurant is only open from Thursday to Sunday. We were there on a Tuesday 😔 We paid €32.00 for a camper with 2 people.
